  • What are the CVV2 and CVC2 codes?
     

    • CVV2 / CVC2 are three digit security codes printed on the back of your card. You can see the number near your signature, written with italic letters (see the example).This code is a supplementary security element when validating a transaction. All Mastercard cards, both debit and credit, have the CVC2 code, starting January 1st 1997; al Visa cards have the CVV2 code, starting January 1st 2001.
