  • How safe are online transactions?
     

    • Online transactions in PayU’s secured pages are highly secure, according to international standards. Personal or card data introduced in the order secured pages are not at any moment exposed or stocked. All operations take place in a secure environment that guarantees confidentiality, certificated by VISA and Mastercard. Data introduced during the ordered are encrypted and transmitted following a SSL (128 bytes) connection. Transaction servers are scanned by ScanAlert/Hacker Safe on a daily basis. The HackerSafe logo certificates the fact that the server meets all security standards. Card data are not stocked on ePayment’s server; they are transmitted securely directly to the server of the issuing bank for validation and payment. Moreover, each transaction is automatically verified, in real time, by specific filtering algorithm and then manually, if any suspicions, by a dedicated PayU team. Any fraud risk is thus eliminated. The fraud attempts level in the PayU system is under 1%.
